During the first half of 2024, the value of European Union exports of Oriented Strand Board (OSB) to the United States rose notably, reaching EUR 89.8 million. This marks a substantial increase compared to the EUR 24.7 million recorded during the same period in 2023. Latvia remained a key exporter within the EU, with its OSB exports to the US growing to EUR 50.8 million in 2024, up from EUR 22.4 million in 2023. Romania also saw a significant rise in export value, from a modest EUR 1,829 in 2023 to EUR 22.8.
