In late June 2024, Sunds Fibertech and S. Kijchai Enterprise solidified their partnership with the signing of contracts for the delivery of a “Scorpion” MDF Dryer and the latest generation SundsZifter. This collaboration marks a significant step forward for S. Kijchai Enterprise as it embarks on an ambitious project to double its MDF production capacity.

The project, which began in February 2024 after receiving approval from S. Kijchai’s Board of Directors, involves the construction of the company’s third MDF production line. The expansion will increase S. Kijchai’s annual MDF capacity from 500,000m³ to 1,000,000m³, positioning the company as a leading MDF producer in the region.

Sunds Fibertech will be a key contributor to this expansion by providing the advanced “Scorpion” MDF Dryer system, along with the latest SundsZifter technology. These systems are designed to efficiently process rubberwood, a challenging raw material. The MDF Dryer is capable of drying up to 56 tons of fiber per hour with high energy efficiency, while the SundsZifter will ensure the fiber flow is free from latex particles and other impurities before entering the forming and press lines.
